Abstract

Monitoring and maintaining the electrical system in the Smart DC Home System (S-DCHS) is a crucial aspect to ensure device efficiency and reliability. This study aims to design and develop an Augmented Reality (AR)–based application as a tool to monitor the real-time condition of relays and batteries. The system integrates the PZEM-017 sensor, an ESP32 microcontroller, and Google Firebase as a cloud database, enabling the acquisition and visualization of current and voltage data. The AR technology is developed using the Unity 3D platform and Vuforia SDK to display electrical parameter information through visual markers directly within the real environment. The implementation results show that the system can quickly and efficiently identify normal, abnormal, and emergency conditions of the devices. In addition, the system is capable of evaluating battery health based on internal resistance values using an exponential mathematical approach. With this method, users can perform preventive actions against potential electrical equipment failures
