Abstract

Flow fluid in hydrogen production processes is a crucial aspect, it has potential to cause significant temperature spikes during operation, making accurate flow regulation essential. This study aims to design and test an effective flow control system for hydrogen production. The developed system comprises several key components, including a pump, battery, DN 25 servo valve, relay, flow meter sensor, ultrasonic sensor, buck converter, and an ESP32 microcontroller, all integrated into a prototype. Monitoring and control are carried out via the Blynk application, which allows users to monitor data in real-time and directly adjust PID control parameter. The PI controller with the Ziegler-Nichols tuning method produced the optimal PID parameters were determined to be Kp = 1.35 and Ti = 6.67. These results indicate that the designed system can precisely control the input flow, thereby supporting a sustainable and efficient hydrogen production process
